Today's Word: Are you down on yourself today because of past mistakes you’ve made or because you’re not where you want to be in life? God knows every poor choice, every difficulty, every wrong turn you may have made, and He’s already planned your comeback! In scripture, Jonah took a detour, so to speak. It took him a little bit longer, but because he called out to God, because he believed, God not only rescued him, but God got him to his final destination. Friend, know today that failure is not final. God always has the final say. Mistakes don’t have to keep you from your destiny. God’s plan can override every setback. Your world may be in turmoil today in a relationship, in your finances or health. But know this: not only will God rescue you; He will set your feet on a rock and lead you to your final destination in life. Remember, the promise He placed on the inside of you didn’t go away because you had some personal failures. No, that failure is only temporarym but His Word remains forever! Keep hoping, keep believing because He will move you into the blessing and victory He has prepared for you! Prayer for Today: Father God, thank You for Your hand of victory and blessing that is on my life. Today’s Scripture:

“If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land”

Today’s Word:

Is there something in your life that you know God is asking you to do, but you just haven’t done it yet? Maybe He’s asking you to reach out to someone or let go of an addiction in your life. Maybe He’s asking you to make a commitment that you just haven’t gotten around to yet or sow a special seed. You may not fully understand why He’s asking you to do it, but know this: God is for your good. He wants to give you the best of the land. He longs to pour out His blessing and favor upon you, but you have to do your part. You have to open your heart and choose to be willing and obedient because obedience opens the door for Him to move in your life.

Today, ask the Lord to give you an obedient heart. Ask Him to show you what adjustments you need to make in your life. As you submit your ways to Him and choose obedience, you will walk in His will. You will experience God’s best and live the good life that He has prearranged for you!

Prayer for Today:

Father, thank You for Your good and precious promises to me. Today, I submit my heart to You in a fresh, new way. Help me to be obedient, and let the words of my mouth and the mediations of my heart be pleasing to You. I honor You and give You glory in all I do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Direct selling giant on track for another record-breaking year

ADA, Mich., July 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Direct selling giant Amway reached $1 billion in monthly sales during June, breaking the billion dollar mark in a single month for the first time in the company's 52-year history.

Overall, sales are up across the Amway footprint, which spans more than 80 countries and territories. Sales increased in nine of the company's top 10 markets in June. Amway operations inChina, Korea, India, Thailand, Taiwan, and Ukraine recorded double-digit growth during that same time period.

Successful product promotions, increase in brand awareness through global marketing campaigns and pricing adjustments are the primary drivers attributed to robust sales results.

"We are experiencing an intense period of growth, and with fluctuations that normally occur in our sales cycle, we expect that momentum to continue," said Bill Payne, executive vice president and chief of staff at Amway. "We're excited because year-over-year sales increases indicate that our long-term Growth Through Innovation strategy is clearly paying off. We're being smarter about how we work and where we focus our efforts. Trends indicate we could have another record-breaking year."

China, the company’s largest market, had record sales in June. In addition, a strong promotion of eSpring® water treatment systems in Korea and nutrition product promotions in Russia significantly increased sales. North America, Amway's home market, is growing and well positioned to continue that trend, driven by numerous, innovative distributor and consumer programs.
