We danced for an hour

Hello Everyone,

On Friday Larry and I received a very precious gift. The Physical Therapy staff set up Larry's Frankenstein table in a separate but adjoining room in the therapy department and when he reached 90 degrees they put on Frank Sinatra and gave us some space. I put his arms over my shoulders and just hugged and swayed with my eyes closed while cherishing and memorizing this sweet place in time. It was an amazing sensation that I didn't think that I would ever feel again, then he topped it off by initiating kisses! The time passed so quickly and before we knew it he had tolerated sixty minutes of standing. What a spectacular experience!

Our prayer for each of you this week is that you count your time with your spouse as precious. We want to encourage you to perpetuate a premeditated act of kindness and create a special memory for your spouse or a family member. Life is too brief to hold a grudge or to take the ones that we love the most for granted. Please plan to create a special memory this week. We promise that you will not regret it.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always trusts, always hopes, always protects, always perseveres. Love NEVER fails! 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.

A preacher once taught me to put my name in the blank instead of the word love whenever I was tempted to operate in the flesh and he assured me that my love walk would develop rapidly. He was right, it really did cause me to act in love toward those people that I professed to love, but took for granted, spoke rudely to, or was impatient with.

Joyfully His,

Stacie
